Tree stump removal can be for aesthetic purposes, safety purposes, insect control, or for new construction. I ask during the bid process what your objective is to make sure we go about the job the right way. If you are adding a garage, I will grind much deeper and in a larger area to make sure the decomposing roots do not cause any damage to a new concrete pad. 

If you intend to plant another tree in the area, I will be sure to chase any roots so they do not obstruct the growth of your new tree. Insects often move into stumps and they will eventually move into the next closest thing, often times your home. 

Do you have kids who run and play in the yard? 

Stumps are a trip hazard that could lead to an injured child or adult. Even though we can do huge stumps and take them completely out of the ground, on average I only need to go 8″-15″ underground before the stump disappears.
