SUPERIOR STUMP REMOVAL FAQs

Stump Removal FAQs

What is the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?

Stump removal removes the root zone and the tree stump to ensure the tree doesn’t grow back. It requires more work and more time to permanently remove a stump. Stump grinding is just what it says.
A machine is used to grind down the visible stump and surface roots to create a smooth surface. However, it doesn’t destroy the root system below, so over time, a tree can begin to grow.
Unlike stump grinding machines, our stump removal machines are designed to go deep enough to permanently remove the old tree so you can safely replant or reclaim the space.
